Vine native of Bordeaux, France. It's a versatile variety, suitable for elegant and long-lasting wines. Ruby red colour, tending to violet. Intense and fruity aroma.

Bottled only in excellent vintages. 

At the Decanter World Wine Awards 2022 our Cabernet sauvignon 2019 has gained a silver medal with a score of 90 out of 100.

Official name: Cabernet sauvignon Doc Friuli

Grapes: red grapes, Cabernet sauvignon 100%

Harvest: manual harvest in crates and selection of healty bunches

Vinification: maceration in stainless steel tanks for 10 days, at a temperature of 26-28°C / 78-82°F. Aging in small French oak barrels for 6 months.

Alcohol content: 13% ABV

Tasting notes: deep and intense ruby red colour. Distinctive scent of berries, with a hint of herbaceous. Intense, velvety flavour, long-lasting and persistent.

Serving temperature: 16-18°C / 60-64°F

Food pairing: suitable for red meat. Ideally paired with aged cheese and cold cuts.
